From proof of concept to policy commitments
Built the communications engine that converted four years of groundwork into nine government pledges.
Policy wins require years of foundation — partnerships cultivated, models proven, champions identified. But groundwork alone doesn't convert. Organizations do the hard work and watch their moments pass because no one built the communications engine to amplify it at the right time.
Four years before this campaign, refugee labor mobility was a concept met with skepticism. By the end of the 2023 Global Refugee Forum, it was officially on the map.
At the Global Refugee Forum, I designed and led a multi-channel campaign for an organization that had already proven the model — 1,300 refugees relocated, employer partnerships established, government relationships in place. What it lacked was the communications engine to make that work unmissable during the three-day window when the right people were in the room. I built that engine.
Campaign ecosystem
Built the central digital hub and social engine that packaged complex policy commitments into shareable, public wins in real-time.
Content strategy
Produced the "proof of concept" content engine, a suite of film and digital assets that validated the model to skeptical audiences.
Executive visibility
Capitalized on leadership appearances alongside UN officials, packaging these high-profile moments into a cohesive narrative that positioned the brand as the central architect of the conversation.
Audience engagement
Orchestrated the direct-to-stakeholder comms journey, keeping donors, journalists, and partners engaged before, during, and after the event.
Select campaign assets
These assets worked together as a single system, each one reinforcing the same narrative and driving to the same conversion point.
An eight-part series capturing a rare moment: the remote team finally together. I shaped the vision, scripts, production, and distribution. It became legacy storytelling that drove traffic, sign-ups, and employer leads long after the Forum.
Real-time dispatches from the Forum floor. The pledge. The resources. A complete case for commitment, updated daily.
Multi-platform campaign architecture in action. Owned content on LinkedIn and Instagram drove engagement. Earned amplification from UNHCR, government officials, and media outlets extended reach. Every channel pointed back to the pledge and the proof.
A program alumnus, a refugee the organization helped relocate, now a GRF panelist, broadcasting live from the Forum floor. Proof of impact in real time: not produced testimonial, not scripted endorsement. The mission speaking for itself.
Results
The organization left Geneva at the center of the skilled-migration conversation. A clear narrative supported by integrated content and executive storytelling transformed years of groundwork into commitments and new funding.

If I can build a campaign that helps convert years of work into nine government pledges, $1 million in new funding, and sector leadership, I can build the communications infrastructure that turns your groundwork into outcomes.
